My Approach

The mission of Self Matters Counselling is to provide therapy and health-related services to adults with the goal to enhance healing and to promote thriving and optimal living. I believe:

  • that counselling is normal and healthy

  • the counselling process can be very powerful

  • my clients have unique culture and diversity considerations that must be respected

  • my practice should be evidence-based and grounded in current science and research
